Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to rise2shinegaming.com, the Rise2Shine partner portal, the Rise2Shine Gaming mobile applications, and related support and business services (together, the “Services”). It applies to partners, prospective partners, account users, technicians, and website visitors.
The Services are business tools. They do not facilitate gambling, accept wagers, or process consumer gaming payments.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Inquiries and applications: name, email address, phone number, business name and type, subject, and message.
- Account and profile: name, work email, phone number, role, account status, service area, and assigned establishments.
- Support and uploads: ticket subjects and descriptions, comments, photos, files, documents, and related attribution.
- Business operations: establishment and license information, equipment and terminal details, revenue, statements, charges, cash activity, deposits, bank information, technician check-ins, and audit history.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we and our analytics providers may collect IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, and performance or security events. The website currently uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
When you use the mobile app or portal, we may collect authentication and server-log information, app and operating-system details, installation identifiers, and—if you enable notifications—an Expo push token. Nearby business analysis uses stored establishment addresses; the app does not request your phone’s precise GPS location for that feature.
Information from business sources
We may receive information from your employer or business organization, authorized gaming-industry systems, the Illinois Gaming Board and other public sources, and service providers used to operate the Services.
Mobile permissions and device features
- Notifications: if you grant permission, we use an installation ID and push token to deliver account, statement, charge, and support-ticket updates. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- Photos and files: access is used only when you choose a photo or document to attach to a ticket or upload to the portal.
- Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or face authentication: your device’s operating system performs the biometric check. Rise2Shine does not receive or store biometric templates. If you opt in, an encrypted session credential and user snapshot are kept in the device keychain or keystore and revalidated with our server.
How we use information
- Provide and secure accounts and role-based access.
- Display revenue, statements, charges, and operational records.
- Process uploads, support tickets, service requests, and notifications.
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate prospective partnerships.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
- Meet contractual, regulatory, tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
- Communicate service, account, and policy updates.
How long we keep information
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and meet legal or regulatory requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and why it was collected. Some information may remain in backups or legally required records after an account is deactivated or a deletion request is completed.
How we protect information
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. These include encrypted network connections, password hashing, device-level secure credential storage, expiring authentication tokens, role-based access controls, and restricted cloud storage. No security system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Some requests may be limited where we must keep information for legal, security, contractual, or legitimate business reasons.
- Account details: update available profile information in the portal or contact us.
- Account access or deletion: contact us using the email below. Because accounts are provisioned for business organizations, we may also confirm the request with your organization.
- Notifications and device permissions: change them at any time in iOS or Android settings.
- Website analytics: use browser privacy controls or available provider opt-out tools. Blocking analytics may not block strictly necessary authentication and security technologies.
Children’s privacy
The Services are business tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change is material, we may also provide notice through the Services or by email when appropriate.
